种菜人的狗掉到了井里。他想把狗从井里救上来，于是他自己也下到井里，可狗却以为主人下来是要把它再捺到水里去，尽快淹死它。所以当种菜人挨近狗时，狗便转过身来，咬了他一口。种菜人忍着巨痛一边往上爬，一边说：“我真是活该!为什么我要这么热心去救它呢?”
寓意：讽刺那些无情无义、恩将仇报的人。
