介词的英文单词是preposition,pre是前缀，表示在……前面，position是位置，含义是表示位置、方位前面的词是介词，介词最初的功能是表示地点方位的，本期我们研究表地点的介词。

知识助记:里面in上面on,over、under垂直上下方在；

before、infrontof是在前，behind就是在后边；

斜上above、below反，beside、near、at、by在旁边；

来自from、朝前to,表面横穿across、里面穿是through；

至上onto进入into,出去就是outof。

1、in在里面，on在表面上(接触)，over在上方(垂直不接触)，under在下方(垂直不接触)。例如:

inthedesk在桌子里

onthedesk在桌子上(接触)

overthedesk在桌子上(垂直不接触)

underthedesk在桌子下(可接触也可不接触)

2、before,infrontof在……前面(不属于物体本身)。inthefrontof在……前面(属于物体本身)；after、behind在……之后，atthebackof在……之后(可指事物内部后面，也可以指外部的后面)。

Thereisablackboardinthefrontoftheclassroom.教室前面有一块黑板。(内部前面)

Thereisatalltreeinfrontoftheclassroom.教室前有一颗高树。(外部前面)

3、above在……之上(斜着)，below在……之下(斜着)；beside在……旁边，at在桌旁；by在……旁(后面接较长的东西)。例如:

atthetable/desk/counter(柜台)；bytheriver在河边；

4、from来自例如:

befrom=comefrom来自；learnfromsb向某人学习；hearfromsb收到某人来信；sufferfrom遭受……痛苦。

6、across在表面横穿例如:

acrossthestreet横穿马路

7、through在里面(立体的空间)穿过

throughtheforest穿过森林

8、onto但……上面，into进入，outof出去
